Tim and April's Wedding

Aaron and Julia headed down to Marco Island to celebrate with Tim and April as they were married. We enjoyed a short time on the beach before the ceremony. The shells on the beach were amazing, we had fun finding a few for the girls. The ceremony was held at a private home and the surroundings were just breathtaking. Aaron was able to catch up with old friends and we had a wonderful time celebrating a wonderful couple. The next day Aaron and I headed back to Colorado. We had more adventures of our own.

After five flights (four each) and about 3-4 missed flights Aaron and I both made it home. Aaron jumpseated to get home, and Julia did a lot of praying and patiently waiting and waiting and very glad to a late arriving passenger...(I made it two flights later)

Happy Birthday Mormor!

Mormor had an April fool's birthday! The weather turned from warm and sunny to cold and snowy! So snowy we were unable to celebrate on the day but we turned back the calender and had a birthday party the next day. Happy Birthday Mormor!

Blizzards of 09

It's been a mild winter here in Colorado but Spring had arrived. We have had a few good snowy days and one good old fashioned Blizzard and another good snow on Mormor's Birthday! . The kids were hunkered down at the grandparents, Aaron out flying and Julia was at work for most of the blizzard. Mara finally was able to enjoy some sledding on our sledding hill and play in the snow! On Mormors birthday we attempted to drive over to celebrate turned into a two hour drive and we had to turn back and go home. We were able to celebrate the next day (and that was only a 20 minute drive) A sunny warm snow melting day...typical Colorado weather.
