Beano's Cabin

This past weekend we headed up to the mountains for a surprise evening out. We took Mormor and Grandpa Ed up to Beaver Creek to Beano's Cabin to take in the winter scenery and for a delicious dinner. The evening was full of adventure. Mara was enraptured by the snow cat sleds that took us up the mountain to Beano's Cabin. Megan however had a different opinion of the ride... Once we arrived at the cabin and we shed most of the layers we had piled on to keep warm, we were started off on our 5 course meal. We tried some new foods (and for some foreign objects) and had a great time taking in the cozy atmosphere. We heard that porcupines like to come try to get some scraps, but we didn't get to see any. After finishing our desert, creme brulee, a ganosh tart, and apricot cake, and a big bananna split for Mara; we headed back down the mountain under the starry clear crip mountain sky.

That looks so beautiful! Josh and I both don't handle the cold so well, but it looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait to see you all again soon!
